It appears you are changing the subject but I have strong reasons to believe that Grant Fisher would defeat Galen in a marathon. However that I cannot prove nor is it the subject of the thread.

The man has Olympic medals and has achieved a nice measure of fiscal security for his family. I doubt that he loses sleep over this or any other factoid tossed about by the LRC peanut gallery.

That is only if you think fast road races or Olympic medals are the oinacle of the sport. I don't. The roads are nice for fitness but real running happens in the mountains. Jurek and Walmaley are both better to me. On the roads a 2 hour marathon is no more 8mpressive than a 6 hour. In the mountains and trails fast times fet impreasive.
