I use them for 1500/3k, too aggressive for a 5K.

AZV doesn't really have a place to shine. Dragonflys are better 1500+.
That leaves the 800, where spikes marketed for 400 are often used at the top levels anyway.
The Air zoom victory isn't too aggressive for races 3k+. Most people nowadays l just have weak ass feet and calves from training in high stack trainers and racing in super shoes.
For 3K-5K they are definitely not popular and too aggressive form most of the people, with some people still racing in them.
However when it comes to 800m they are very popular in collegiate track and pro circuit, but mostly for the speed based guys, who also sometimes race in the maxflys instead. The 800/1500 specialists still tend to steer into dragonfly direction
I personally love the air zoom vics, have run many PRs in them, but don't think its a great workout shoe, I tend to workout in dragons (unless its a small race pace session) then I opt in Dragons and then only race in the vics.
