Far be it for me to question anything about the training of the American record holder, but hey it’s really early and I’ve been up for 3 hours already.
Looking at her Strava she only maxed at 87 miles for this attempt at lowering the AR, and was only in the 80’s three times total. Seems like mileage better suited for shorter race distances, so not surprising she crushed many other shorter road race distances this year, but not the marathon? 2:21 is amazing but I know she came to Berlin to lower her AR. I was just surprised to see so many weeks in the 60’s and 70’s in the last few months. But maybe this is what works for her? anyone know her mileage during the AR build up
