I see that the Novablast 3 is out now and from one of the reviews I read it seems to be a downgrade over the 2....firmer and less bouncy which is exactly what made the Novablast 1 and 2 so appealing.
Anyone here tried it out yet?

I've tried both 1 and 2. I've had to stop using version 2 because it caused shin issues.
Version 2 is definitely less bouncier than 1 and that's noticable on tempo runs.
I'm not going to bother with version 3 because I need something a bit more stable, not sure what that is though.
Did you only read one review? Because from one google search I can see and read many reviews that say the opposite of what you are stating. I also have a pair that I recently got, and I only have one run in them so I can't say a lot, but they felt bouncy (compared to my Asics GT 2000-10).
Interesting you had this experience with your shins and the Novablast 2. I was a long time Ghost 13 user but was having some peroneal/shin issues. After switching to the Novablast 2 (knock on wood), I have felt a lot fresher. Definitely bouncier than the Ghost 13, but I have never tried version 1 or the new 3.
I read the review by Brandon Law on Running Shoe Guru. I have respected his opinions in the past, I will check out some of the other reviews, but a lot of the big name reviewers I tend to ignore because they often blindly praise shoes.
