1. I like the college football playoff, but I would include the Sun Belt, MAC, etc in the playoff as well. P5 teams should obviously get the top seeds, but I would like to see conference champs from for the MAC get into the big dance to see what happens.
2. 11 games per year.
3. All the conferences are wack now. Notre Dame should finally join the B10. Texas A&M needs to be Big 12 as does Nebraska, Rutgers and Maryland need to GTFO out of the B10, I could go on and on.
4. They need to send a few teams back to 1-AA. I won't name names. When your attendance per game is less than 5,000 why are you even here?
5. Too many bowls. Can't pull off a 7-4 record? Too bad. Stop rewarding mediocre teams.
6. You have 5 years of eligibility. Get hurt? Too bad. No medical redshirts. If you enrolled in 2020, then 2024 is your last year.
7. You can transfer to another school and not sit out.
8. If you make the team you should be on full scholarship.
9. Enforce academic eligibility. Can't be bothered to go to class? Don't bother playing the sport either. If you can't manage a 2.0 GPA, maybe college isn't for you. Athletes have tutors if they want them. Welcome to the real world, the real world requires effort.
10. One College All-Star game. Make it an event. I'm not sure why there is 4 of 5 of them.
Bonus: A few nationally televised Ivy League games would be cool. I'd be more interested in Harvard vs. Yale than a 5-5 Purdue vs. 4-6 Syracuse at 7pm on ESPN on Saturday night.
