Its threw. Not through. You go through a tunell, you throw the ball, yesterday you threw it. English isn't even my first language. You seriously need to pay more attention to your grammar.
People think the site is racist because you let racist posters stick around. Just look at runnerboy70's posting history. Defends calling flag kneelers racial slurs, says slavery 'wasn't that bad' and today in the Chicago gun violence thread implies immigrants are stupid.
I must say, I'm not clear what the motivation is in this thread. Just because an athlete gets a lot of attention, doesn't mean they warrant a serious discussion on their World gold medal winning prospects. It reeks of provocation and trolling tbh...
I would be more inclined to discuss whether anyone can break the Jamaican stranglehold on the 100m (and if anyone can, the likely candidates will be women who have shown they have both the physical and mental ability to win).
I have defended Richardson on other boards from people who simply cannot stand her. But I don't over egg her odds at winning gold medals. Let her first make the team, and then we can discuss the possibility of winning medals.

Rather than trying to drum up racial hate, I'd posit that the motivation for this thread is to drum up interest in their supporters club and podcasts, using a click-bait athlete to draw eyeballs.

And yet he's welcomed here.
Yeah, runnerboy70 seriously needs to have a can of whipass opened up on him. He seems to be someone tht had his ass beat a lot during his youth and in high school. He was bullied a lot, no doubt. Most with weak minds are.
I'd say get ready to open that wallet, Jon is pretty likely winning that bet. Making an American team in an event isn't a guarantee for any athlete, especially one who's performances and personality lead to an insanely large range of possible outcomes. She's more likely to not even make the finals at USA's next year as she is to be world champ.
Her new inflate-to-70-PSI chest will help with her lean at the tape... but winning Worlds isn't happening. Sucker bet.
There's no need for her to lean at the tape because she will not be leaning for the win. The new mammaries are creating drag due to wind swirling around the peaks. Plus the additional weight and strength needed carry them around are not efficient for sprinting. Her days are done.

You think she is the only track athlete to ever get implants?

It's all much ado about nothing.
Alan
Er, yes.
Plus advise other female sprinters with breast augmentation surgery who have won serious international medal or wr in 100m.
The issue for me is how long can braggadocio last without significant results. We all know how much easier it is to train when improving.
Tbh, given what a weird person she is, I am impressed she has held it together this long. Her gold in DL must have helped despite the weak field / competition.
We also know that she has peaked on the Peds, so no significant ped improvement, which would be needed, unless she changes coaches.
Probably won't make the team. Her focus is on what people think of her, too much. When your opponents realize that they'll use it against you. Simply by calling you out publicly. If she's racing well before Worlds. I expect an opponent will say something she'll be defending to get into her head.
I said it was more likely she breaks the world record but then took that back.
Yikes. Sha'Carri has shown nothing that would indicate that she can run 10.48. In fact, only 2 athletes since Flo Jo have: Elaine and Shelly. But you already knew that. Glad you walked that back. But the criticism that you brought this up just for clicks does seem fair. She is a hyper-polarizing athlete with a majority of people loving to hate her (the "hate" is incredibly justified IMO based on her behavior and over-hype). Honestly, I don't think there is much of a debate or conversation to be had here. Almost all of us, including those who are bandwagon Sha'Carri fans, don't see her winning Worlds next year. And almost all of us, including those who love to hate, would like to see her mature and start treating herself, her sport and her competition with more respect. You won't see an improvement in her consistency until that happens.
On a side note, the sooner you permanently ban the dopes who routinely post bigoted responses the better this board will become.

People are going to post stuff that is offensive on here. Our general policy is to review posts individually but I welcome people point out for us to look at a poster's collective action.
Racial slurs we do not tolerate so that post I'm assuming was deleted and would warrant a ban.
If someone said "slavery wasn't that bad" that is offensive enough to most of our users that we would remove it but I also would be fine with people pointing out how wrong that argument was.
