You're darn right I have an inferiority complex about my height! You would too if you were a shorty like me. I don't think you have a clue what's it's like being an ultra-short man in the good old U.S. of A. I'm a tad under 5-6 & despite having a muscular, bodybuilding physique through decades of hard work weighing in at 175 (15% BF), I'm still not taken serious by most women (who would have thought. Lol).
Let me school you: Society favors tall men. Height represents leadership, intelligence & masculinity. The vast majority of the Presidents are all over 6 foot. Trump is 6-3 & Biden is 6-0 (could you imagine a 5-6 Trump or Biden campaigning for President? 🤣). 60% of the CEOs of the Fortune 500 countries are over 6 ft. The Western action movie stars are all over 6 ft such as Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, James Colburn, etc. (could you imagine a 5-6 Clint Eastwood riding into town to fight the outlaws? 🤣). The Superhero action stars are over 6 ft such as Chris Hemsworth, Jason Momoa, Chris Pratt, etc (could you imagine a 5-6 Thor, Aquaman or Superman trying to save the day? 🤣). Short men in these occupations wouldn't be taken seriously. Short men are better suited for comedy roles like the three stooges. Lol. Short men are looked upon for leadership & guidance.
And I'll admit I get hit on by overweight/obese women a lot (at the gym, the grocery store, the bank, etc). Just the other day, one of those really obese women with their belly hanging out all over their waist hit on me at the banana section of a grocery store (on my way home from the gym). She said I had a nice physique & asked me if I was married. She was probably pushing 250 (5-5) & had what appeared to be diabetic skin sores on her lower legs 😖. My 22 yr old son witnessed the incident from another section & laughed his butt off at his old man. Lol (I'm widowed). Because of social media elevating the perceived SMV of overweight/obese women - they go after less attractive, short men like me. They know they have no shot with the taller "Chads" but also know that ultra-short, less appealing guys like me struggle with attractive, fit, in-shape women. And it's funny that many of these obese women want nothing to do with other obese men, which they would have much more in common with.
So, as a bodybuilder, fitness enthusiast & health nut, I'm supposed to lower my standards & settle down with an obese woman? Please...don't you see a major conflict of interest there with eating & excercise habits & a completely different lifestyle? Lol.
