Just watched his WIRED video on YouTube where he answers research questions. Seems like an intelligent, humble guy who is really willing to think about things from all angles and come to well informed conclusions while still keeping an open mind. Would be great if more people saw learning that way.
For the record he is ABSOLUTELY WRONG about Nick Willis having a definitively better running career than Centro but still a really cool guy and awesome that he’s a running fan!
I'll respect that guy when he works in an office cubicle just like all of the people he thinks should be stuffed into COVID-incubating cubicle farms. He's a gadfly at best.
He is an excellent writer, speaker, and story teller. Not all of his books are great, but some are (Outliers is excellent). I have found him to be worth listening to and reading *most* of the time. And he frequents these boards, which I find kind of hilarious.
His podcast has a lot of great episodes. The Elvis one is amazing. The football/concussion one is great. There’s gotta be one for everybody. Wide range of topics covered.

I wonder how he manages to restrain himself from contributing? I mean, even anonomously or under a different handle, you'd think he'd be easy to recognize, so he's certainly not a regular poster.
