yes CDA is gonna be really solid next year, but let’s be focused on the present. Rocky put on a clinic today at state and they are looking really dangerous at nxr
Blanchet is better than Crater at #4. If they close the 4-5 gap and Schneider/Oliver get back to where they were last year they could make nxr very interesting
When Idaho’s state meet speed ratings come out, I think you’ll see Rocky Mountain looking like a solid two in this group and the closest contender to Jesuit. I suspect their 2-5 will be better than all but Jesuit and their 1 will be barely behind Gorze. They could win NXR NW.
Heemeyer has previously been speed rated at 192.5 and I think he was at least that good at state. A quick gut check of others’ times seems to beat that out. Their 1-5 spread was about 55 seconds. That would put them at ballpark 193, 189, 177, 177, 174.5.

It would be great to see both Jesuit and Rocky Mountain go 1-2 at NXN. if Carter doesn’t make it that’s ok. They will return everyone but Gorze next year

Rocky Mountain - actually better than Jesuit at positions 1,2,4 and 5.
Seems like Jesuit’s 4th didn’t really progress much from last year
I think Rocky Mountain might actually challenge Jesuit since the NXR race will be at their home state. We might see a first team from Idaho make NXN this year.
I wonder how often the ID boys teams will be going to NXN going forward. Seems like this state is getting stronger. If Rocky makes it, it will probably motivate other Idaho teams to make it in the future.
Since NXR is in Idaho, more Idaho teams should be going to NXN
