Hahaha!
Any mens results?
I'm guessing the calls that JH is Done are probably correct.
She ran 37:41
Kind of figured it would go this way. Poor girl, I can’t imagine she feels in any way healthy running that kind of time. Really hope she gives her body a break here soon
Anything under an hour is a good result. Congrats Jordan.
Shame on Nike for still running her out there. If she'd go somewhere, get a decent coach, focus on getting well, stop the gadgets and gimmicks, and stay in one place, she may still come back. But, at this stage it is doubtful.
Maybe she just wanted to vacation in Maine and decided to run the race as a warmup before a long 20 mile tempo run.
It could also be written into her contract she has to make an appearance at at least one dedicated Nike race or be reduced. And this was it.
Her ig indicates she is definitely training and doing workouts. I'm sure she wasn't at peak fitness for this race and was more showing up to support Joan Benoit Samuelson & fulfill a contract obligation but her time is bad, even if it was a training run. It's a sad situation for sure.
My 40yr old daughter-in-law, who only ran high 17s 5k in college and has two kids and a part-time job, has run faster than that for a road 10k this year.
Another terrible race even by the standards of her terrible recent years.
She should probably quit running tbh... And not just quit to become a hobbyjogger (shes already that) but quit entirely until she figures out what is wrong. She can always try a comeback in her mid 30s like Keira Damato
Shout out to Marielle Hall. Not an amazing time but glad to see her out there.
I thought the 35ish guess was mean but wow. Even if she’s not taking it seriously, I would guess 34.
I hope she can figure it out for general quality of life reasons.

without Salazar she is a different runner, nowhere near as good as she was. Letsrun should do a article on this.
My 56-year-old wife runs faster.
