Noah Breker, a senior at Robbinsdale Armstrong High in Minnesota, secured seventh place in the boys championship race at Nike Cross Nationals at Glendoveer Golf Course in Oregon. Breker covered the 5-kilometer layout in 14:55...
I think Sam Scott needs to change his racing plan. He goes out so hard in every race, and on multiple occasions his fast start and consistent need to be in the lead has backfired(Applejack and Conference). I think he should at least test a more sit and kick strategy and see how that works for him. He looked so out last mile at Gale Woods today.
In this interview he said he wants to win a national championship as a senior
Wayzata was 12th. Hamza was only their fifth man and he is the only one gone.
Stevens Point 15th and they bring their 1-5 back.
This region is getting so strong that there may be 3 teams sent to nxn from this region.
Southwest could be the third one if they find a fifth guy
What’s probably gonna hold this region back from getting an at-large is that the out of state teams don’t race each other until Heartland other than at Griak. Stevens Point didn’t race at Griak this year and I doubt that they will next year

What's in it for SPASH? Them and Wayzata on paper are the two favorites again next year at Heartland. Not sure how a 3rd team makes it unless Wayzata and SPASH are ranked high and lose at Heartland.

Wayzata and Spash will be hard to beat by another team at Heartland next year.
They both placed in the top 15 and lose barely anyone next year.
Wichita Trinity KS is looking to be #3. I would also watch out for MPLS Southwest but they will need a better #5
Fun fact: counting her enroute, 5K split of 16:49, this was Abbey’s seventh consecutive sub-17 minute 5K performance. Consider that only 3 other Minnesota girls have ever run sub-17 (Emily Covert twice, and Tierney Wolfgram and Ana Weaver once each) and Abbey’s season seems even more incredible.
