No Jakob in the 3000 is a big disappointment. Sowinski, Hoppel, and Clayton Murphy in the 1000, lol. Think any will break 2:20?? Murphy probably getting coach plane ticket to Paris and a bus ticket Monaco, no appearance fee.
Obviously ducking Fisher. He knew Fisher is going to be running on pure hate after that 5000 WC fiasco.

What else would they do for the rest of the year? Might as well race the DLs where they can then take a break before winter base training. I doubt any of them have World XC on the calendar
Thought you be happy Fisher is racing in Europe. You and Lars are always slamming BTC and other US runners for not racing in Europe. Other American distance runners already have and soon more will this summer. Monaco is invite only as are other DL meets. It’s great that Fisher was invited to this incredibly prestigious meet.
I hope they still have something left during the month of August and early September.
I am a junior in highschool. My previous pr in the 8 was 2:06, at the end of the season. Well it's been a year, and of course I'm planning on training hard as hell. Yet, during the race, my strategy is focusing on pure hat...
The womens 1500 is loaded! Hull, Cranny, S. Johnson, Wilson and all the best from Kenya and Ethiopia. Can’t wait! Couldn’t get any better
Although no Tsegay or Muir. IF Kipyegon is going for the WR it will have to be a solo effort. And why would she waste Monaco on anything other than a WR attempt. Hopefully the pace will pull the Americans to PRs.
Really looking forward to the women's 1500 and what I assume will be a WR attempt from Faith Kipyegon. Hope she has a good pacemaker, she definitely has it in her legs. Would also be great to see Genzebe's (presumably) dirty record be no more.
Also looking forward to the women's steeplechase and seeing the top three from Eugene going at it again. Think we could be see a sub 8:50 from one of them.
But it's Josh Thompson...he deserves an asterisk. That's the joke, that it's Josh Thompson in a DL meet of significance. Dude barely made the final and got dead last.
Bol is only a Mickey Mouse champ. She won the DL when neither Muhammad or McLaughlin were running, and beats up on slow-twitch women in the Euro champs. She's praying McLaughlin goes to the open 4 because otherwise she will never win a WC/Olympic gold.

Sowinski Probably Pacing
Hoppel held the AR for the indoor 1k. Murphy posted he flew business to Poland.
keep trying lol
Hoppel and Murphy’s combined 1k times would probably be faster then you could run a 1k in.

Don't worry be happy High Hopes.
I am happy they are racing the DL! I would guess they saw that they needed the race experience after worlds. Gonna be a good DL circuit. Hope they will participate in the rest/more of the DL going forward as well.
