Ok, find another race that had the double gun “echo” then…
@rojo would surely buy into this conspiracy

The times are 100% correct. I double checked myself with the coaches eye app.
Brittany Anderson (2nd Place) was asked in the interview when did she first start wearing her spikes, and replied this is the first time (later clarifying she has been practicing about 2 weeks with them).
I don't know which shoe company was the first to get the super shoes on to the hurdlers, but all brands seemed to have followed suit. Many of the huge PRs came from PUMA sponsored athletes, and I bet they all were racing a meet in these for the first time.
I can see the spring effect being a huge benefit coming off of each hurdle.
If there was a "double gun" the time would be long, or more, not less.
It's purposely difficult to screw this up with a FAT system and an E-gun. I won't get in to specifics, but a start mask works prevent a second start signal, which is what would be necessary to pull this off.
The upshot is that is either dead on, it of by 3 seconds.
However, 10 of the top 16 had a PB in the semi finals. The remaining 6 had SB. They were not all be Puma athletes.
There was nothing special with the wind either. One heat had -0.1, the other two had +0.5 and +0.9 respectively.
Also, in the heats, only 1 athlete in the top 36 had a PB + only 1 had a SB. The 2 athletes were Amusan (Adidas) and Jenneke (Puma)
For sure some athletes took it easy in the heats, but others were going all out to qualify, but yet did not get PBs or even SB.

The interesting thing is that Doshi will be the only one in this yr’s top 7 who lives in the np district and has never transferred from anywhere
The times would be faster if the athletes got a head start by reacting to the first gun, whilst the second gun was the one that recorded by the computers.
We would know if we had the 10m by 10m splits
Was done for us, by Track & Field News no less, the Bible of the Sport as they call themselves:
"Many assumed a timing system malfunction — from equipment manufactured by Seiko, which had generated observably faulty split data (though final times were fine) at these Worlds.
Not so. Amusan’s blinder was legit. (Among others, T&FN conducted a frame-count analysis of race video, which backs up the validity of the time.)"
Hand timed it with my cellphone stopwatch .... 11.86s ... 12.06 seems totally legit given the discrepancy in audio delay, etc ...
Michael Johnson needs to top making accusations without evidence to back up his claims. We've got eyes and stopwatches ourselves.

Can you get more off topic than this? Keep your opinions about covid and conspiracy theories in other threads please. Nobody cares what you think about covid when the OP is about legitimacy of 400mH timing.
