Tsegay looked like she was running on pure hate. Unfortunately that is an 800m tactic

I used to be a Laura Muir fan, but not anymore. The only possible way for that race to be run the way it was is for the three medalists to all be on the juice. A 58.9 first lap means they are in a complete lactic state with 2-3/4 laps to go. It's literally not possible for women to run a 1,500 race like that without blowing up. Watching that race made me sick to my stomach. Most blatant doping yet in this World Championships.
No it wasn't.
Why do you keep saying this?
You bros are really smart.
The 55sec split is a TV split, the start reaction time is done with a totally different system
What is irritating about the TV splits though, especially in the marathon, is how they have the leader without a time and list all the others with their gap time ...WTF?
If it was really 58.9, the final time makes more sense.
58.9 is still crazy, closer to a solid 800m split. People are piling on the second pack for not running hard enough but they pretty much all ran that first lap at sub-3:52 pace. For those women, most of whom have PBs just a shade under 4-flat, that must have been painful and concerning. They're already in well and there's still 1100m to run
I'm a fan. She's done nothing untoward. People can defy your expectations.
Infact they did blow up, relatively speaking, and "only" ran 3'52"....
Which feed were you listening to? Kara initially said 55 when the screen said it but quickly corrected it
Muir did not go though in 58.9 and still could not old them in the last lap
Hutchings never corrected it on the international feed, as far as I can remember

Yes, this really annoys me! I want to see the actual times especially the leader's.
Also it is too bad that you had to stay up or somehow wake yourself up after 2:00 in the morning ET to watch this important race of the championships
The field in the women's 1500 took too many cues from the US women marathoners. They weren't able to "pick off" many late.

??? is this a critique of the marathoners, who put 3 in the top 8? or of the field who didn’t go out at better than their 800m PR pace?

2:03 at the half. Side bet men are slower?
Not a chance. With McSweyn and Ingebretsen in the field there is just no way it goes out slower than 57.x - 1:56.x. I would not be surprised if it's a second faster each lap.
Usually I can't stand watching championship 1500s...everyone bunched up together, jostling, tripping and waiting until the last lap for any action
I loved watching this 15. So satisfying. Find out who the strongest and the toughest are.
Not sure which channel you were watching , but Kara gave the wrong split and quickly fixed it
Goucher made a quick correction and stated the proper pace. Stop lying.
