You don't have to record it, there is a link to the full replays. Like others make sure you watch the world feed just watched an hour ago no commercials.
Peacock is $5 a month. How does any serious track fan not subscribe to this?
Is there a way to record stuff on Peacock? I don't think so. I don't watch sports live anymore due to all the commercials. I'll tape an American football game and start watching about an hour or hour into it and I'll be caught up in the 4th quarter to watch the last few minutes live.
If it's possible to record on Peacock, let me know. Maybe there's a button somewhere I'm missing.
Have you looked into using Snagit or something similar? Some streams prevent capturing, but many do not. I may test Snagit today.
I watched the race with no interruptions, on peacock, in a shopping mall while my kid destroyed my credit card. Been super happy with the Peacock coverage so far.
They do 45 minute football soccer halves without commercials interrupting the entire screen and the same with auto races. They can do split screen if they are required by contract to do so. One needs to explain to the producers and directors that six laps to go there are no interruptions. It’s like an American football team being at the opponent’s 20. They would never cut out then. USATF needs to give them a class because we need broadcast TV to build the sport.

You can also rewind inside the live stream. I think it goes back 90 minutes. Just start streaming an hour+ after the first event you want to watch, and fast forward through the dead time.

If you pause for more than 90 min, and the event ends before you’re done with your stream, it’ll cut off until the “replay” is available. About 15-20 min

There are no commercials for the world feed on Peacock. Plus they have a replay of each feed after the feed is over.
Does anyone know if there is going to be a dedicated feed on peacock for the men's shot put? I see a bunch of other field events, but that's the one I'd probably actually watch.

It doesn't look like it. But they should show some of the throws in between heats of the races.
I'll say it again... This is the corporate oligarchy that you people keep voting for. Other countries have access to better coverage. But OMG sooo much freedom.
Why don't they just do a 10 minute tape delay and come back to the race where they left off after the commercial breaks?
Probably for the online spoiler risk. If you’re watching live, and then suddenly you’re on a 10 min delay, Twitter, messages from your friends who are in the stands saying “DID YOU JUST SEE THAT”, or these message boards might ruin the race for you. Live means live. They should just flash ad banners on the bottom of the screen the way the English Premier League does.
