1. "Shakes" his go to for horizontal jumps (i.e. Jeremy Fischer). He might not be the jumps coach but he is part of a previously successful fabric.

Jager is discounted because I dont think he actually has a degree and you need that per university policy. I also realize these are mostly distance runners. But roles need to be filled. Plus, this is the University of Oregon and Jerry is a hallmark coach so he could literally get anyone. The Ducks' own alumni roster runs deep with candidates to serve the coaching staff. This is the Yankees remember! If they wanted to get Carl Lewis they would get Carl Lewis.
