It doesn't matter if she's black or white because this is fake news. Abby Steiner hasn't signed with anyone for any amount of money yet.

I know wikipedia is not always a trustable source, but whoever wrote this must have known sydney very closely (So i believe this story from wikipedia has some truth in it)
“ In June 2018, after one year at Kentucky, she forfeited her eligibility to compete in college to turn professional, and signed a sponsorship deal with New Balance in October of the same year.
After a bidding war, she got an estimated $1.5 million in annual base pay from New Balance. Instead of hiring an agent specializing in athletes, McLaughlin contracted with William Morris Endeavor, a firm that typically represents Hollywood stars. “
Actually it is nothing. Because no contract has been signed.
Oh, Wikipedia, it must be true the.
Apparently she got 1.5 Trillion is says!
What's outrageous is your gullibility.
It's everywhere.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what we call White Privilege, in plain view
If she were black, she wouldn't even got 1 million, straight out of college
So is the story that the U.S. election was stolen.
I never understood the reason, why shoe companies don't want track athletes to reveal their salaries. Does anybody have any idea ? ( Why only for track athletes)
It's wrong everywhere, she hasn't signed anything yet.
Maybe Gabby will spend a bit and purchase a new doorbell.
Not so fast buddy.
Why is it that only Puma contract values leak? It's like they are doing it on purpose as they are lying about how big it is.
Some people on this Form are crazy. They are questioning the validity of the report, because Puma (or Abby Steiner) didn’t announce it officially. What they failed to realize is that, this kind of massive deals will usually takes many days to finialize the signing. But that doesn’t mean the report is fake (Smart reporters, usually broke news when it’s almost done, when about 95% of the deal is completed)
** Someone on twitter mentioned, Abby Steiner is not happy about the new being released this early, and she plans to announce the official signing on July 14
Is that you Kenny?
Some players also make a lot of money in endorsements.
Perhaps no official announcement because, while Steiner and Puma may have reached a verbal agreement, it still has to put on paper by lawyers. Then, Steiner and her reps and lawyers have to scrutinize the agreement as well as Puma. Then, if both sides approve, the agreement is executed. This process takes time.
My favorite piano player wears Puma athletic gear. I've bought plenty of Puma stuff just because he wears it. Puma ought to look into sponsoring him.

The same way people in general don't reveal how much money this make. It's nobody's business. Don't think it's the shoe companies, probably more the athletes.

Or perhaps ... it's just untrue. The amount of mental gymnastics people go through trying to turn a random, unsubstantiated tweet into reality, is staggering, especially when there is a really, really simple explanation...
It's not true.
