It's finally over. The greatest question of the season has been answered. Shetty wins the NP 7th place Sweepstakes. Congrats on the national championship

He was actually only 1 minute and 1 second behind the Youngs
He would have been:
San Clemente 6th man
Ventura 6th man
Crescenta 4th man
Great Oak 3rd man
Redondo 1st man
Also worth noting that:
San Clemente’s Taj Clark wasn’t scoring like he did at the beginning of the season. So if he did, Shetty would have been their 7th man. The fight for the 7th spot was happening on this team too but before this race, their top 7 was already decided
Great Oak sat out 5 of their guys. So Shetty would have been their 9th runner actually
Ventura had a senior Baysinger as their #2 at the beginning of the season. So if he was still their #2, Shetty would have been their 7th, making a senior their 8th runner
Jesuit - Cressman was missing and Swanson underperformed
Camarillo is moving on to the next round and has 2 Stimpson brothers scoring.
Wonder if at some point it will be a better choice than Newbury Park for the Camarillo Cosmos guys
Millikan’s team looks solid next year.
They return every scorer on this team, and having a low stick in Parra won’t hurt

Shetty locking up the 7th spot on NP is bigger news than Cortez Masto's victory in NV giving the Democrats control of the Senate.

Newbury park swept both the guys and girls

Preview and projections for all the divisions of Saturday's NCS races.
wow...lincoln, a stockton public school upset jesuit! will be interesting to see how they place at state.
Yes that was a crazy big upset. Jesuit will have to be on top of their game and have all five to finish ahead of Lincoln of Stockton at State.
Fun fact - this was the school that Emma Abrahamson went to
Granada vs Redwood this weekend, I don't expect any upsets but should give both teams a good race. Up front it's Granada's #1 vs Redwoods #1.
