Did Tim Hutchings have a stroke on that lap? Said Grijalva ran for Guam, confused Kimboi ans Lobalu 3 different times then started calling Kiplimo Kemboi.
Then in the last 100 he just starts slurring random syllables
OMG the refugee runner Lobalu! That's an absolute stunner.
Holy sh!t. Guy from South Sudan actually beat Kiplimo!
More on his story here, he abandoned his refugee training base due to issues with pay/winnings. Missed Tokyo as a result. Seems like he's in Switzerland supported by On and he must be training amazingly: https://time.com/6077132/tokyo-olympics-refugee-team/
He's run a 61-min HM, 27:58 10,000, 3:39 1,500 but nothing to show this sort of amazing form.
Alternately, McSweyn and Kiplimo both looking 95% back. Cornelius Kemboi strong run as well.

His gaffes are becoming more frequent; it really takes the viewer out of the race when he starts rasping out random names during the final lap. They need to either replace him or have him be secondary announcer to Cram.

I usually like him, but he was all over the place in the 5,000. Kemboi sat in 3rd pretty much the whole race and he screwed up ID'ing him oddly. Then he couldn't figure out the athlete refugee and his name is pretty easy to spot.
Is it just me or do male and female pole vaulters have best bodies? Guess it makes sense since you use more muscle groups than any other event...and you have to be tall/symmetrical

Too bad he probably can't run Worlds then, maybe he can for South Sudan in the future
The best female Kenyan steeples run for Kazakhstan and Bahrain. It's bizarre because no other Kenyan event class is doing that at this moment besides NCAA runners who represent the USA through WCAP.
