Karissa Schweizer should be ashamed. I’ve never seen a race where somebody intentionally bumped, elbowed, and cutoff other runners as much as she just did. She nearly took out both Cory McGee and Elle St. Purrier at various points. Absolutely despicable performance.
I didn’t saw any dirty tactics. Obviously In this kind of races there will be some contacts (because runners don’t want to give up their positions easily) , but nothing major happens to call call Karissa a dirty runner.

She threw elbows at McGee and tried to block her with about 300 to go. backfired though as sure that gave Cory a boost of adrenaline to add to her kick

Yeah we saw that too. Big Schweitzer fans in our house but we saw that and collectively gasped. Was on the dirty side of normal tactics and felt extra gross considering she probably wouldn’t run the 1500 at worlds even if she qualified.

^This is what I meant. She nearly took out St. Pierre and McGee, who are both clearly deserving of being in the team. It was very selfish running and she nearly weakened the US team by racing the way she did.

Yes, and I’ve done exactly what Schweizer did….and got DQ’d. I also would never do this to someone who has medal potential for Team USA.
