What are some small or big things I can do to maximize my progress in track and cross country?
I am a high school runner and have made enormous improvements over the last year.
I stretch and do mobility,
I’ve increased my pace for weekly runs
I meditate & improve my mental game
I lift weights
I eat very well and only drink water
I get over 8 hours of sleep
I’m improving daily habits such as limiting my phone use, reading, journaling and goal setting.
Many of these objectives aren’t perfect, but I strive to improve every day
I have a consistent daily and nightly routine. I am always prepared for whatever I’m racing, my confidence continues to improve the more I progress.
I’m not a perfect runner, but I know I can improve even more, what else can I do?
