Anyone here use a power meter when running?
My friend gave me a Stryd foot pod. I've used it on some runs, but have literally no idea how I should use the information it provides.
I mean, okay I'm running up a hill, or running into a strong headwind. Like, no crap, I'm using my energy, i.e., "watts." Alternatively, I'm on a trail, or running in sand, and although I'm using more energy, it effectively tells me my wattage is lower because I'm running slower and it doesn't account for the surface I'm running on.
What the hell am I supposed to do with the information this device gives me?
It just seems like I should be listening to the information my body is telling me over what this device says.
What am I missing?
