This is one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen. Why would any BTC critics be upset about OAC doing exactly what we all wish the Bowerman athletes would do? You know, like actually showing up to the Diamond League and racing against the world’s best instead of staying home to run time trials.
Also are we going to ignore that while BTC has had multiple athletes double at Worlds (Fisher, Woody, Schweizer, Scott ran both too last year), none of the doubling athletes have ever done notably well in the second event?

You have to keep in mind how delusional one would have to be to be an adamant BTC defender at this point when you read their posts.
Lol this is exactly what I'm talking about. Because I like some of the guys on the team I'm delusional for being a "BTC defender" (whatever that means).
Yeah sorry to interrupt your BTC whipping party. Carry on, we didn't have enough whipping threads already.

Uhhhh Moh Ahmed?
Shh don't let facts spoil the narrative. Also as if Klecker ran incredibly well in his only event last year.

You're delusional for not understanding why they are the subject of a "whipping party" and for thinking Klecker scratching to focus on the 10000m, or actually racing in Europe, is comparable in any way.
The mental gymnastics on this board are astounding. If anyone on BTC decided to skip USAs to run a 2nd rate diamond league in Norway they would be crucified.
We get it, this board has its favorites (OAC) and its punching bags (BTC). Just don't make the hypocrisy so obvious.

You're telling me this board would give BTC a free pass for skipping USAs to run a 2nd rate diamond league a week before? Really? If Klecker wanted to race the "world's best" he should've run Rome.

Why is Grant Fisher the subject of a "whipping party"? Explain that to me.

He didn't skip USAs. He won it.
He was entered in the 5k this weekend. He scratched. He's skipping the USA 5k championships.
Disassociate himself from a team that harbors a convicted doper, as others have.
How has that worked out for them so far this year? Which other Nike groups should he join? How about Union, whose coach used to be the assistant to a convicted doper, and who have no 5k-10k guys. Sounds like he really has a choice.

People scratch secondary events after making the team all the time. How long have you followed track, n00b?
You do realize the 10k champs were a month ago, right? He also ran a 5k last week. He could easily have run USAs this weekend, but chose not to. I personally think that's fine, it's his choice, but don't act like BTC would've been given a pass.

Of course he has a choice. And choosing to continue to run for BTC will carry criticism. I don't see why you can't understand that.
