There is no such thing as promoting hearsay. We don't have a Hearsay Matters or American Hearsay Keepers association or the like.

Yet Rs in the Senate blocked the formation of an independent, non-partisan committee. Why? The truth is they didn't want any kind of investigation because they were afraid of what would come out.
And it would have been a lot harder to discredit an independent body. With the current committee they don't need to consider the actual evidence. They can just dissmiss everything by claiming the members are all biased and it's all a witch hunt.

Cipollone will testify. There are no allegations that Trump threw food at Cipollone. None. Cipollone has agreed to testify under sworn oath to god.
This is a key development. Cipollone does not booze. Unlike Giuliani, he gave legal advice to President Trump while sober. Cipollone was dry, and cannot be impugned with alcohol. All his advice to Trump was sober advice. It needs to be determined whether Trump chose the drunken Giuliani advice or the sober Cipollone advice when he attacked the Limo driver. Trump does not drink.
