Looked hurt
Women’s 100 in about 40 minutes.
The heats are loaded.
Steiner and Ofili really need to run well because they may have trouble getting top 2 in their respective heats, just looking at the numbers.
Alfred favorite, but Barnes and a few others also have great PB’s well under 11
2 NC State women DFL in the first heat of the 15
Quick thoughts:
Heat 1: Degenero looked relaxed and Aragon really turned it on the last 100. Mackay and Flockhart looked slightly more strained but closed well. Rough NC State showing, and I expected Gibson of Washington to do better.
Heat 2: Vissa looked great as always, Heymach looks to be returning to old form, and Gear had a huge last 200. Leather positioned herself badly and had too much work to do at the end (still small q). Asekol and McArthur surprise non advances although McArthur has seemed to have bad luck at NCAA outdoors.
and way back for Vess...she was falling off the pace before it really got fast
3rd. Heymach came in 2nd.
Why start a thread about women, and then put only ONE freaking woman in the title.
Honestly, I liked her, along with many other women runners, but now I hope that she loses.
The bias on this website is out of control.
FYI - On the spanish language coverage, they don't have commercials, they just let you watch the race with no commentating. Good to know for the upcoming 10,000 in particular!
cooper teare is with sydney seymour at the butterboys tailgate .. rachel mcarthur got left in the dust twice
Just how much she's dominated the all-time list has to count for something.
Camryn for the Bowerman, I mean.

katelyn tuohy's name is clickbait .. whatever it is, if you put her name, the thread will automatically get nonstop replies, always has for SIX YEARS.
katelyn doesnt benefit from all of it, the site does... all she gets is unsolicited advices, pressure and lots of distractions... they are using her popularity.. if you wish her ill on her races for that reason, well that's only tells about you as a person.

It's going to be OK. There are hotlines available to call for help 24 hours a day.

What when where more
you can't blame a talented runner for having fans
Steeple thoughts:
Heat 1: Jolly looked strong but did she run too hard in the prelim closing in 72? Wayment had no interest in winning the heat, and McCabe looked good. Cohen had to battle for the last small q, doesn't seem like she will approach her PR in the final.
Heat 2: All of my expected top 5 were top five, save Delay who was sixth but got a small q. She looked exhausted sprinting for a time qualifier though. Hats off to Niggemann who took a nasty fall but was poised in getting back to the front and running strong. Shut down a charging Delay by putting a surge around the final bend into the last 100. Boreman looked amazing, PR and very poised. Kimeli didn't look smooth, but her form isn't usually and she charged to 9:31 last year.
Protest in the 1500 going on
the entire 2nd heat of the 1500 ran faster than the winner of the first heat
