lol cmon now we know at 0400 Seth is wide awake thinking about eggs or maybe ad-libbing a Bondi 8 vs Bondi 7 face off in the shoooooedio, the shoooooedio
Anyway we're now on day 2 of the little guy ignoring the DGR family in the comments (after hsi injury rant vid talking up interacting with the community). Cmon now DEEGEEEARRRR if you want to summon your leader you need to be dropping those bait comments where you tell Seth how your family of 15 sits around the TV every morning watching the funny running man show and how the channel and Seths great training insights have taken you from a 52 minute 5k to 47 minutes *insert paid emojis to let Seth know you are funding the McMansion dreams*
It's funny you mention this, I remember a video years ago (back when he seemed like a likeable guy) where he was running up a mountain and he actually bumped into Joe Gray. Joe cheered Seth on in his workout, and Seth acted like a giddy fanboy about the encounter.
It was a cool moment, and one that I can't even imagine happening now. With all the running talent in the area there's a ton of good stuff he could be doing, he just doesn't want to.
I still remember the video where he bumped into Robbie Ballenger on a mountain but Seth pretty much blew him off. Robbie was doing a 14er challenge but Seth couldn't be bothered to say more than a couple meh words. He was only interested in the DGR fanboys he bumped into.
He follows 18 people, one of them being a letsrun Staff Writer.
Other than that, he has the following: "I help YouTube educators grow" "Helping you write better YouTube titles using psychology" "Web Video Producer" Oh, and Gary Vaynerchuk - the second most annoying man on YouTube.
Good to see he's "figured it out" and "cracked the YouTube code and algorithm", unfortunately he's let reality take a back step in the process.
👉THANK YOU for picking up your running shoes from the "DeMoor Global Running Store". You are supporting this channel's video creation by using the Running W...
WTF is up with his matrix in general? An "easy run" shoe is different than a "daily trainer" shoe? A "tempo" shoe is different than a "threshold" shoe?
Maybe if the guy actually read some running/training books he would be able to produce better content, that would match the widely accepted definitions of these terms.

Exactly. Who has different shoes for different training days?
I can see, special faster race shoes but all other shoes are just running shoes you rotate during the week. Seth tries to make things way more complicated than they actually are.
Also all these shoes in the running store are for different feet. So actually you are only looking at 3-5 different shoes for your feet.

Never understand that either.
I have exactly 3 pairs of running shoes - my outside road shoes, my outside trail shoes, and my treadmill shoes. Why overcomplicate things?
Maybe the Runningwarehouse affiliation is playing a part there. But really, I would say one shoe for easy runs, one Tempo shoe and maybe a separate Race shoe.

oh no no no you're doing it all wrong, that's hardly a quiver! What about your supermax cushioned shoes for recovery days? And carbon fiber shoes for the track. Then a lighter tempo day shoe. Then 3 easy trainers. That's before we even talk about the trail arsenal you need to start building.

Yeah..that guy isn't being safe. The more shoes the better.

No "steazy" shoe? No "tweener alert" shoes?!?!?!?! That's just crazy talk.
And if they are over 7.95 oz in men's size 7.5, they suck. C'mon now!
I just looked up SJD on socialblade and wow, this guys views are definitely on a downward spiral. From May 2020 - May 2021 he had several months of 1.5m+ views, anywhere from 35-50% of his peak months in 2020 - 2021. His last three months were about half of that. With reduced view count plus lower earnings in general for ads... ouch.

Thanks to all of the LRC lurkers, his numbers are a lot higher than they should be.
But as far as I know, all these numbers don't really matter to youtube. They are interested in actually watched minutes of content. And I am pretty sure that only Seth mom has watch a full video once.
