Who takes the 8? Sahlman has the fastest pr, but he lost to Daeson and Harder in the masters meet.
Does Caudillo get the 16/32 sweep? Do Appleford or Parra have a shot in the 32?
Do Ayers or Pala have any shot?

Sahlman looked very tired in the masters meet.I say he doesn’t place in the top 3. 1600 and 3200 Belong to Caudillo. I can’t see Appleford winning even after Caudillo dominates the 1600 .
Don’t sleep on that sophomore. He’s probably the hungriest of them all and has confidence through the roof. He’ll be there to the end.
The 16/32 double is extremely difficult due to the small period of time between the two. Even Blake Haney couldn't do it and he was by the far the favorite in both
(3rd in the 3200 despite winning Arcadia), I'd love to see Caudillo do it, but I am betting against it.
I think Caudillo leads the whole way in the 1600, only to be outkicked in the last 100 by Jeremy Kain, Similar thing in the 3200, but fatigue from the 1600 will cause Caudillo to lose to Bryce Gilmore. If I am wrong, a Caudillo double would be a monumental achievement. I give him props for trying. The safer bet would have been to just focus on winning the 3200, but it seems he is going for it. Thumbs up for that. You want to be a legend, you got to do legendary things.
I think it’s going to take a sub 4:07 1600 to win. 3200 sub 8:51 . It’s always tough to double. Caudillo is one tough runner, why wouldn’t jus focus on whichever is his favorite race?

I remember seeing him run in the 3200 at Arcadia. Some of the bravest running i've seen in a while - he led his heat by about 10 meters when noone else wanted to, and was rewarded with an 8:54, even though he got outkicked at the end. I would put my money on Parra as a dark horse, even moreso over Pala.
