My coach wanted me to setup our team on an app for logging workouts for our team and to use for communication during the summer. At first, I thought Strava's clubs might work, but it's missing some stuff like goals/run plans and a team overview with mileage per day and month.
I looked at Running2Win, which seems like an older website. It seems more geared towards high school teams, with features built for teams that have most of what we need, but it's less intuitive and and has an older UI. Most of our athletes will probably want to use their phone to track rather than go to the website, which is only easily usable on a computer, so it also doesn't help that their app's functions are extremely limited (Running2Win lite is the new version). The mobile app just has a run recorder, a view of workouts (just mileage, pace, and time, with no map or stats), a view of teammates' mileage, and the workout goal set by the coach for that day only.
Does anyone have any other recommendations? If you have experience with using Running2Win with your team let me know.
Thanks.
Note:
Our team has only 15-ish runners, and we don't do much more than 5-10 miles per week.
We won't be holding team training during the summer, so we just need something for our team to be accountable for their workouts, where the coaches can see their activities/mileage/time trained and communicate with the athletes.
