Yeah she's a runner she's a track star. Well at least she was a track star. Not anymore.
Now she's good at eating delicious cake.

Did she get fat and I don't mean fully automatic timing
Of course. How could my right hand have different hobbies than me?

Yes, my wife and I both run. Married nine years next month. I met her at a bar, but we had both ran the same half marathon a few weeks before which was one of the things we bonded over. We actually lived just a few blocks from each other and went for a 6 mile run the next day.
We used to run together all the time but with kids, it gets tough. Also, we are both starting to get more serious about training for marathons. Her PR is 3:19 and mine is 2:49 so it’s hard to line up runs where we are close to the same pace.
We both love running and travel so our goal is to run a half marathon in all 50 states and run all the world majors. We’re at 26 states and have number 27 scheduled next month. We’ve ran Boston and are time qualified for Chicago next year.
I honestly can’t imagine being married to a nonrunner.
When my wife and I met, we both ran. I've kept up running, but she transitioned into yoga, has gotten quite advanced at it and even teaches it now. She does her yoga. I do my running. I stay fit. She stays fit.
I don't need her to run with me. She doesn't need me to do yoga with her. We enjoy having our own thing. But the fact that we both are committed to physical fitness and understand each is going to have to spend a lot of time working at it, is important. We support each other in that way. After 19 years of marriage we're both as fit, if not more, than when we first met.
Julien Wanders' Kenyan GF Kolly isn't a runner, but she has good connections within the running community. She runs a small business.
Yes, we met on our little D3 XC team way back in 2009. She's 8 months pregnant with our first child right now so she hasn't been running at all. She did a little bit earlier in the pregnancy but it was too uncomfortable. She's looking forward to getting back to it, but for now it's just walking and prenatal yoga. Whenever we do run together it's only for a mile or so before she gets annoyed with me and tells me to go ahead. Her easy pace is anywhere from 8:30-9:30 per mile while mine's about a minute faster. It feels pretty unnatural for me to run that slow so I subconsciously half-step her which causes the aforementioned annoyance. I swear I don't try to do it lol.
Her dad was a D1 runner at Notre Dame so this baby has some pretty good running genes coming from that side! Looking forward to living vicariously when I'm deep into masters territory and PRs are but a distant memory. Just kidding I'll be chill about it I promise.

No, she was not a runner when we met. She did pick up running a little later. We met in a statistics class back when we were in university.
