So, my coach just gave us 4x400 with 2 1/2 minutes rest, at 800 meter race pace. The day before, we did 3x1000(3200 pace)pace and 2x600(1600 pace). I usually race the 3200, with a 9:50's PR. I've never raced the 800, so I just went hard. I ran all four in 58-59. Does this mean I'm more suited for the 800? I've always seen myself as a 3200 runner, but now not sure. If it helps, I'm a sophomore, running about 40 miles a week.
