Hi All,
I've been having this hip issue since end of 2019. Long story short, I was running and developed pain in my right hip. It turned out to be iliopsoas bursitis. End of 2020, I got a PRP injection in my iliopsoas. I thought that should cure it, which it did, and it didn't.
After the PRP injection, I felt tightness in my right hip. I had to see numerous PTs and chiropractors (some have fixed mindset). As time went on last year, I was able to manage the hip issue and run. Eventually that will screw up my biomechanics and not being able to run my best. Now that I'll be able to run in 2-3 weeks due to a stress fracture in left foot, I would like to get rid of this problem.
Symptoms I'm having are:
- femoral hip snapping when getting up, hip flexion, or at random. No pain.
-right glute tightness (near the lower back) when kicking right leg to the side.
-groin tightness
-lower back pain, specifically on the left center of my lower back.
-outer hip pain
Recently, I suspected it's the sartorius muscle. I also went to StretchLab and they said it's tension in lower back, hip, and groin, but I don't think it's right. I plan to see the doctor (Kaiser) on Tuesday. I'm also looking for new chiropractor in the Bay Area. Let me know if you know anyone that can solve this. In the meantime, I'm wondering if anyone knows what's going on?
