I don't know for sure - I honestly don't read the message boards that closely - but I kind of thought that the general feeling for Tuohy on the website overall was fairly positive. Of course, I could well be wrong on that...that's one of the cool things about not building your whole life and persona around one person - you don't have to keep up with that kind of thing, because you realize it just doesn't matter.

Not a knock on Katelyn Tuohy at all here, but just a general observation from a dull, middle-aged person: fangirling, fanboying, whatever...it's a road to nowhere. Live your own life. Let Katelyn be Katelyn. Be a fan, sure, but maybe chill on the all-Tuohy all-the-time bit. Because when you deify someone, you're setting yourself up for disappointment in the long run. And it's not fair to her! Would you like to endure the pressure of knowing there were a bunch of keyboard psychos out there tracking your every move, trying to build you up into the Greatest Thing that Ever Lived?

Have you ever considered that just maybe, some of this supposed anti-Tuohy bias you claim to see is actually caused by people like you constantly saying how great and perfect she is? It's just human nature - when people are constantly being bashed over the head with claims of "OMG such-and-such a person is so great and admirable, and you guys need to bow down and grovel before her", there is bound to be some blowback.

Guess what, its not .... you can search up her name with some keywords and you'll be shocked as to what this site has said about her for the past 6 years

if you think haters' voices don't matter then why fans' voices matter to you? why are you questioning me being here and not them? some of the trolls i fight have been here for 6 and more years, only discovered this shth hole last year ,,,,, hatred is accepted but when someone is brave and loyal enough to start defending someone whos a constant target in this site, it isnt okay and its obsessive?

roe gets plenty of respect here. people talk about what went wrong for tuohy more than what went right for roe because she is basically the people's champion. but most people understand and respect what roe did with 600 meters to go.

katelyn tuohy is indeed popular, her high school career has been phenomenal and she did earn so many fans but what you dont see is tht fans are also very humble on all her short coming and set backs, loses and every improvement, little or big is celebrated

just coz she has fans it does not justify bashing, but we live in a world where if you're doing good, people will naturally hate you, you get bashed, you get hate, you get naysayers .. for tuohy its been years and years

So you are not a "stan" in the Eminem-song sense, but merely a "fan". But think about it: fan = shortened version of "fanatic". Look up the definition of "fanatic". Well, I doubt you will, so here is the first definition I found:

"a person filled with excessive and single-minded zeal, especially for an extreme religious or political cause."

If, as you say, the word "stan" has shed it's negative connotations to become something non-toxic, the same is true of the word "fan". Being a fan may be harmless for most people most of the time (as with Eminem's fans), but you'd do well to keep in mind the root meaning. But stan or fan, whatever you might be, I think you are a little over-zealous. (Yes, I know...you don't care).

And of course I can use my "middle-aged perspective" on any topic I choose - this is a forum, which means that the whole point is to get viewpoints from many different perspectives. And newsflash to you - you don't speak for your entire generation. You personally might "only know Drake"; plenty of teens and college students don't like him or are indifferent. Plus, isn't Drake a little bit dated at this point?

first, i dont spend 24 hours here maybe an hour or 2 if i see a troll , i have classes still right now, i even have a classes on weekends, but mostly it is online this year.. idont really care much about tf other than my idol so it doesnt really take much of my time compared to this middle aged men in letsrun

I'm pretty sure I never said anything positive about trolls. But you are also a troll, or maybe like a photographic negative of a troll. It's kind of like, if some threatening creep trolls a famous actress online all day, I'm against that. But I'd also be against a pathetic simp "defending" the same actress all day every day. Kinda like 2 sides of the same coin. After a while, you start to suspect the real motives of the "good" stalker...
