Koko has shown some tremendous self-restraint in this thread. You just know he's dying to tell us his forbidden, Bell Curve-related opinions, but he's managed to hold off to let the anticipation build.
No this thread's really not about me.
I've always wondered what it's like to have all the mainstream conventional opinions. To corporate HR employees espouse the exact same beliefs as me. To watch the Oscars acceptance speeches and be like "yassss! I totally agree" with all of them.
Not complaining, I've just always been curious what that would feel like
Maybe your problem is that you’ve deluded yourself to believing that you’re unable to share beliefs that aren’t in total agreement with “Oscars acceptance speeches”.
I think we all have views that we keep to ourselves but the problem today is that we lack civil discourse. We shout and attack anyone who disagrees with our views. You will never win anyone over to your point of view by attacking them. Use wisdom and logic and give them something to think about. We all have blind sides and sometimes someone's else point of view gives us a perspective we haven't considered before. This is part of growing intellectually and coming to a conclusion based on reason and facts.
- Stop telling me I should be ashamed of the color or my skin. I have no more control over this physical characteristic than you do.
- Don't ask for a promotion at work and then have back 2 back babies and disappear indefinitely.
- women are tougher than most men, but men are physically stronger and better suited for jobs that require brute strength.
- All the homeless who refuse help need to be locked up and off the sidewalks. They are sidewalks, not side homes.
- Stop taxing me and not doing a damn thing about increased violent crime and homelessness. Wake the F up and walk the streets of your city; it's a dump out there
- If you commit a crime, you need to do the time. Stop playing the race card, or the homeless card, or the stupid covid card. Man the F up and take some responsibility.
- Give respect, get respect. Call police or people in authority pork like products from the get go, claim profiling and/or excessive force and demand badge #s and threaten to sue, well ... good luck
- Don't tell me I should drive an electric car or bike to work. Ever.
- Everyone lighten the f#@! up and use a little common sense to solve problems rather than pointless divisive attacks that help no one.
- Quit crying and whining all the time. You hit the lottery by being born here. Your grandparents and those before them would be ashamed of you.
- Smile more and blame others less. It's usually your fault anyway.
You literally said "Everyone lighten the f#@! up and use a little common sense to solve problems rather than pointless divisive attacks that help no one." in a rant post with divisive attacks. Can't make this up. 😂

If all the single-adult homeless people were to suddenly painlessly "vanish" from existence in my city (think Avengers when the infinity gauntlet is used). I wouldn't be sad.
I'm mainly referring to the people that permanently camp, liter, and use drugs, not those that are temporality down on their luck and having to resort to a staying in shelter.
Yes, I have several views that I wouldn't dare say out loud. They would be misconstrued and held against me. Some would also be hurtful to other people, and I don't like hurting other people's feelings, so I don't express those views either.
Yes. I believe Donald Trump is a pathological liar and suffers from narcissistic personality disorder. The evidence seems very clear to me, and yet so many people believe he is some kind of infallible divine savior that it would be dangerous to put that sign on my pickup truck.
-homeless should be gassed. Just taken to a place and euthanized. They are uncurable and drain a on society.
-Violent criminals should be executed, in large numbers and shortly after their trial. ("Oh no we might kill someone innocent!" I'm sure we will, but the greater percentages won't be- it'll be worth it.)
-Mandatory birth control until you can prove that you are fit to be a parent.
-Tracking in school and real vocational training. Sorry but not everyone is going to college to be a doctor. We need people in the trades and those can be VERY good jobs.

I'm a millennial republican living in a liberal city, so ya... All the time. For some reason everyone around me is brainwashed to believing in everything a liberal person is supposed to believe, and if I say something they don't believe in then I often get attacked. It's funny because if I don't talk about political things they all assume that I'm liberal, and they openly talk and bash republican stuff in front of me assuming that I'm also liberal. It is funny because in my mind I am the way it should be, it should not be obvious what political party I am apart of. If you are a decent human being and not an extremist hateful person it should be pretty tough to know what your political party is. Yet the extreme people on both sides won't agree with that statement saying how bad the other side is. If you have a problem with what I'm saying you're probably too far right or too far left, neither side is 100% perfect.
