Agree that Cook is not over-raced which helps.
I just watched the race replay on Flotrack (took a while to find in the full-day replay at about 8:51) ... Natalie Cook impresses me more each time I watch her race.
The conditions looked very good and the pacing was excellent ... Natalie followed very skillfully ... the announcers said she passed 3200 meters in 9:55 ... Natalie took the lead with 4 laps remaining before Molly Graybill surged to the lead ... Natalie closed the final 800 meters in 2:24.36 and final 400 meters in 71.64.
Her 9:44 indoor 2-mile record suggested she could challenge the Jenna Hutchins 15:34 5K record, but 15:25.93 is simply outstanding!
