But few, if any, get it so wrong, so consistently, with as much arrogance as this guy.^^^
"Do you even read charts?!?"

You are aware that Ukraine has little power, little heat, and is running low on water?
Is that what winning looks like?
You are aware that Russia is targeting civilian infrastructure because they’re unable to mount any offensive on the frontlines? Is losing territory and 80,000 troops (dead and wounded), along with thousands of tanks, armored vehicles, and the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet what winning looks like to Putin and Russia?
As I said, this is a delicate situation. You're dealing with the #1 nuclear superpower - 5,977 nuclear warheads - the largest in the world. In addition, to their Tsirkon hypersonic missiles & the Avangard HGV, they the monstrous RS-28 Sarmat (SATAN 2) ICBM. It carrie's 10-MIRV warheads x 500 kt yield!
The two sides need to come to the table & negotiate an end to this war. The U.S. needs to lead the way in diplomacy with the two sides. You don't want this war continuing on & going nuclear because Russia was backed into a corner. You're dealing with an unstable dictator who has a lot of nuclear firepower at his fingertips.
Based on Russia’s efforts so far in this war, if they fired all 5,977 of their nuclear warheads at Ukraine, roughly 60 would land in Russia. So, that’s one reason why Russia is not going to go full-on nuclear. The second reason is that the US could still turn Russia into a heaping pile of glass if needed.
They’re not going to use a tactical nuke, because doing so risks NATO actually getting involved (e.g., proving longer range weapons, troops either on the ground or air, etc…)
I agree the two sides need to come to the table and negotiate. Russia leaves to pre-2014 borders, pays appropriate reparations, and turns over the thousands of war criminals in the Russian military and government and Ukraine will generously stop killing Russian mobiks and blowing up Russian tanks). It should be a very brief negotiation that ends with Putin hanging from the gallows.
China won't let Putin use nukes. The real proxy war is China using Russia to try to weaken the West and gain leverage in moving Taiwan into more of a Hong Kong-esque relationship with the mainland. China is propping up Russia by buying all of the oil and gas that the West is no longer buying. So, China will not let Russia go nuclear because a conflict that exceeds the borders of Ukraine and Russia is too destabilizing and would hurt China's fragile economy.
This is not to say that Ukraine has it made in this conflict. Russia's campaign to turn Ukraine into Aleppo and a possible second mobilization may mean that Russia is planning a broader attack to possibly reopen a front in the north through Belarus this spring. Ukraine is facing battle fatigue, but cannot stop pressuring RU forces in the East and on the left bank of the Dnipro. Ukraine is getting fresh shipments of weapons and missile defense systems. And more UA troops are getting trained abroad and will be ready for combat this winter. But UA forces need to maintain momentum this winter in order to have more breakthroughs and avoid getting burned out with WWI style trench warfare. RU is in full Stalingrad mode and is willing to let tens of thousands of conscripts die just to wear down Ukraine in the hopes that a second mobilization will finally wear out UA.
Some people die of vodka, and their lives go unnoticed. But your son really lived and achieved his goal (of dying in Ukraine?). He didn't die in vain. --- Vladimir Putin
Thomas Theiner, an ex-soldier who currently is a filmmaker in Kyiv, predicted winter “would kill more Russian soldiers than Ukraine ever could.” He may have been right.
Hypocricy and double standards are no strangers to NATO.
From a press conference in 1999 with Jamie Shea, NATO Spokesman:
Question (Norwegian News Agency): I am sorry Jamie but if you say that the Army has a lot of back-up generators, why are you depriving 70% of the country of not only electricity, but also water supply, if he has so much back-up electricity that he can use because you say you are only targeting military targets?
Jamie Shea : Yes, I'm afraid electricity also drives command and control systems. If President Milosevic really wants all of his population to have water and electricity all he has to do is accept NATO's five conditions and we will stop this campaign. But as long as he doesn't do so we will continue to attack those targets which provide the electricity for his armed forces. If that has civilian consequences, it's for him to deal with but that water, that electricity is turned back on for the people of Serbia. Unfortunately it has been turned off for good or at least for a long, long time for all of those 1.6 million Kosovar Albanians who have been driven from their homes and who have suffered, not inconvenience, but suffered in many cases permanent damage to their lives. Now that may not be a distinction that everybody likes but for me that distinction is fundamental.

It was wrong when NATO bombed civilian infrastructure in Serbia. It was wrong when the US bombed civilian infrastructure in Iraq. And it is wrong for Russia to bomb civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Next question.
I would have guessed that a large % of Americans who have been fed lies upon lies for decades would still believe the MSM
Every time I need a good laugh, I read some of your posts. I don't know if you mean to be or not, but you're becoming one of the most humorous posters on this web site. I wouldn't block you or a few other posters for "All The Tea In China." Keep posting. Some days I can use a good laugh.
Also, you are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. I don't deny you your rights. However, I hardly ever agree with your positions. But still I like hearing what the other side says/feels. I'm not the proverbial ostrich that sticks his head in the sand. Keep posting.

So, Putin condemned the NATO bombing campaign in Yugoslavia / Serbia and then used it as a pretext for his invasion of Ukraine. I think we found the Czar of double standards and hypocrisy and his name is Putin.
p.s. Did you ever figure out how many Ukrainian civilians pro-separatist forces killed in Donbas over the last 8 years? How many were killed by Russian weapons? Don’t forget the 298 killed on MH17.

I would have guessed that a large % of Americans who have been fed lies upon lies from Jimmy Dore and Clayton Morris would have an average IQ of about 16, be unable to read simple tables on Wikipedia, and be wholly incapable of understanding global affairs. You are evidence that my hypothesis is correct.

Name a few of those lies.
I can name plenty of lies we have been fed from our govt and media

Well, here we are, almost winter and Ukraine can't get its power back on. No amount of meat for the grinder can stop them from losing Bakhmut. About to collapse on several fronts and US military hinting that they can't win and better "negotiate" i.e. surrender.
And the Nazi posters on this thread will get soooo angry, soooo righteous about denying these facts. They'll insist another 100k Ukrainians get killed to validate their feelings. It's all entertainment for them. Very shameful.
