Stealing resources from a poor nation to find military adventurism and overthrowing a fledgling democracy via a military coup. I'm sure the resident anti-imperialists will be outraged. Or they'll just do the ostrich routine while saying some combination of fake news and whatabout USA.

Multiple interviews with high-level Sudanese and US officials and troves of documents reviewed by CNN paint a picture of an elaborate Russian scheme to plunder Sudan's riches in a bid to fortify Russia against increasingly ro...
I remember the US attacking Iraq, Iran, Afganistan. I also rememmber Russia backing South Ossetia and Abkhazia to be independent from Georgia. Another thing in my memory is how Islamist fighters from Chechnya infiltrated Russia's Dagestan region, declaring it an independent state and calling for holy war. Either way, Russia has not done anything, the US has not done before.
Ukraine is oppressing their Russian-Speaking people, while inviting Russian enemy - NATO - to it's doorstep. Also, over 90% of Crimeans are basically Russians living in Ukraine, they simple "came home".
As far as Russia not being relevant on the world map: Europe is having one of the biggest inflations in its history, governments are calling for saving electricity and gas. Gas literally costs double now and Russia has not even closed the pipeline yet. Europe will last 2 years max. not being friends with Russia, then West Europeans will gladly give up Ukraine and even Lithuania and Poland if needed, just so they can live their lifes how they used to before.
And especially for you, once again:
"If I find out where you live, show up right by your property and taunt you, I'm sure eventually you will come out with a baseball bat or a gun, which will make you an "aggressor" :)
So, US actions in Iraq justify Russia invading Ukraine? No, of course not. That’s like saying Russia’s actions in Georgia justify the US invading Russia or Switzerland.
The only reason there are Russian’s in Crimea is because they killed all the Crimean Taters that lived there back in the 40s.
No, I won’t “come out with a baseball bat or a gun” if you taunt me, because I’m not a violent thug like you. I may call the police and let them deal with you though.
Russia is going to be nonexistent in two years if this war is still going on. I know you and your friends are weak and can’t handle a little adversity, but every European I know is full on supporting Ukraine and pushing for more sanctions and support for Ukraine.
Switzerland, despise being neutral on European issues for decades, have imposed economic sanctions on Russia, expelled Russian “diplomats”, and closed Swiss airspace to Russian airlines.
Switzerland has adopted new EU sanctions against Belarus and Russia, also imposing financial and travel sanctions on 100 additional individuals and entities, including oligarch Aleksandra Melnichenko, the Federal Council said...

This is a good essay on the many factors that will determine how this war will be won.
Snyder also provides a good summary of the Putinbois efforts in this thread over the past 5 months:
What might be the most important variable this summer is public opinion in Europe and in North America. Russian propaganda has not convinced many people that its war of aggression and destruction was justified. It has largely given up on the three "N"s of Nazis, nukes and NATO with which it began the propaganda campaign. Propagandists have done a better job with the idea that Ukraine somehow cannot win, or that the war could be somehow brought to an end if the West stopped sending weapons.
Russian charged with using US groups to spread propaganda
A Russian operative under the supervision of one of the Kremlin’s main intelligence services has been charged with recruiting political groups in the United States to advance pro-Russia propaganda, including during the invasion of Ukraine, the Justice Department said Friday.
The indictment of Aleksandr Viktorovich Ionov reflects what U.S. officials say are ongoing Russian government efforts to meddle in the American political process, to shape public opinion and to sow discord and dissent on hot-button social issues.

The Russians have been firing from the cover of the Zaporizhzhia station since mid-July, Ukrainian military and civilian officials said, sending rockets over the river at Nikopol and other targets.
It is, in effect, a free shot. Ukraine cannot unleash volleys of shells in return using American-provided advanced rocket systems, which have silenced Russian guns elsewhere on the front line. Doing so would risk striking one of the six pressurized water reactors or highly radioactive waste in storage. And Russia knows it.
Russian forces have occupied the nuclear site since March 4 but began using it for artillery strikes only three weeks ago, Ukrainian officials say, about when HIMARS appeared on the battlefield. Shielded from return fire, the Russians are menacing Ukrainian troops advancing toward the Nova Kakhovka dam on the Dnipro River, one of the last remaining crossing points for Russian resupply.
Russia has turned Europe’s largest nuclear power plant into a fortress, stymying Ukraine’s forces and unnerving locals who fear both shelling and a radiation leak.
