The pause to refill and the 40 mile tank convoy should also be categorized as tells that the media is lying.
If Ukraine was repelling Russian forces wouldn't there be some of them that would find a way to destroy those Russia sitting-ducks? If the West/NATO had any actual plans to get involved, don't you think they would have hustled in some military weaponry that could "help" the Ukrainians blow up the convoy...?
Again, the Sixth Sense when Bruce Willis realizes its been years and the child hasn't grown up.
The West/NATO isn't interested in getting involved and Russia is crushing Ukrainian forces as they march onto Kiev. Don't let the media distort reality to the degree that they convince us to become involved.
You obviously have no primary sources at all. Who is telling you this stuff?
Russia is systematically dismantling the Ukrainian military's eastern forces, is what it keeps saying. Most of the remainder are surrounded within cities, unable to engage because the moment they show themselves they are pinpointed by drones and blasted with artillery.
So when you do you predict they will be in full control?
They are not seeking to control the entire country.
Week after week, I keep pointing out they never mentioned such an objective, even specifically stated they didn't intend an occupation. What they SAID is they are there to demilitarize, denazify and neutralize. That's what they're doing. The best portion of the Ukraine armed forces, and the Nazis, are all in the east, surrounded. The Russians do control the battlefield, and generally the airspace.
Ukraine has already SAID for days on end now that they'll be willing to accept neutrality, the only sticking point is getting security guarantees.
It's ridiculous to see dozens of people so delusional about what the belligerents are actually saying. Don't they know how to internet? Go to the source.

the convoy was attacked. From the rear, I hear.
Not more heavily attacked because RU still can project air superiority in areas.
and holing up a supply convoy in one place isn't a terrible thing. It sure wasnt' delivering things.
war is hard. You can't just call amazon and get your sh/t delivered. you have to fly it around, find people who know how to use it, etc. Hard to get new weapons into trained hands.
I think this whole thread can be closed out and we all can agree on the following summary:
Putin made a strategic mistake invading Ukraine and despite his overwhelming force advantages his army is under performing. If Russia persists, it is likely to eventually topple Ukraine but their presence is not nearly great enough to hold the country. In the end, he has strengthened his allies without appreciably making Russia or Russia's allies stronger or gaining any real strategic advantage. The reasons for his shortsightedness can be debated but no one will every truly know.

another reminder that wigins is so naive that he believes russian propaganda.
remember when he swore russia would never never never invade Ukraine? His reasoning? because Russia *said* they wouldn't invade Ukraine.
Oh come on, worst has been posted and doesn't warrant deletion of a thread. The thread was clearly hitting some VIP's nerve. My offer is open to any American rooting for Putin - I will buy your one way ticket to Moscow and will even help you pack.
Postings about Trump and Biden devolved the thread far from being about Ukraine vs Putin. A poster devolved it further down a dark road with a political dik pic. That poster's, a putin supporter, nerves were clearly hit hard. Very angry that their opinion was not accepted as the final answer.

If he keeps Ukraine out of NATO he's achieved his strategic goal. In 3 months the world will forget this ever happened and the sanctions will either be lifted or Russia will just get closer to China.
This isn't the slam dunk for the west people seem to think it is.

you can't really believe keeping UKR out of NATO is his strategic goal.

you can't. Not even you.
He's been saying it since 2004. I know it's crazy... But maybe he meant what he said.
Hitler said what he wanted to do and they didn't believe him either...
Assessment of the war from a military munitions specialist with a realistic(but pro-Ukraine) viewpoint. Spoiler: if you have been suckling on the MSM propaganda, prepare for a cold shower of reality:

The video I posted explained in detail what is going on with the convoy. Laying down a pipeline to Belarus to facilitate a siege, for one thing. He predicts the fall of Kiyv in late April, based on logistics at this point.
If you folks would refrain from quoting him I wouldn't have to read his drivel.
Absolutely LOVING the "block" function... :-)
Yeppers! I have got adultintheroom blocked so all I can see is that he posts about 20 times per hour at his slow times. But my timeline is cleansed of his idiocy. It is a thing of beauty.
What he and some of the others don't seem to grasp about their right to free speech is that no matter how often or how loud they choose to spout their views:
1. I can ignore them. They don't have a right to have me listen.
2. I can judge their character, knowledge and intelligence.
I find it particularly satisfying to see all the "this post by XYZ is hidden..." I enjoy the power. Ooh ha ha ha (in a deep, Morgan Freeman from on high god voice).
If I walked into a room with degenerates like him, carmine, BW and the lot, I wouldn't give them the time of day there, and I won't give them the time of day here.
And they are totally free to block me, so it's all fair!
