I mean emphasis on the extremely hard workers. Not trying to crap on other teams or d-ride schumaker but if you compare their workout intensity to a team like tinman you understand why, even if injury prone, they have excelent results. Adapt or die.
Sorry, not buying the "everyone is doping" theory. Met Cranny, Fisher, and even Jerry at the team Ekiden race in October. I do not believe for one minute that they are doping. Call me names like naive or ignorant, I truly believe they are clean and just extremely hard workers with boat loads of talents and a great coach. Anytime records are broken, it's doping...not buying it.
I don't buy everyone is on drugs. It wouldn't make sense that so many people are willing to cheat. Basically what you're saying is every top runner is immoral.(quote)
No. Basically we are saying every top runner wants to win.
Agreed. I remember many here trashing Fisher after the Olympics. Must have been Jealousy or something! I do not understand it. Let somebody have some success without trashing.
Thank You.
You could argue the same for every athlete who dopes.

you probably would’ve said the same thing about Shelby too…
4 of them have finished in the top 5 of an olympic or world final. Ahmed, Fisher, Jager, Centrowitz. And then Lomong has a 7th and Woody has a 14th and 15th finish, and Tuntivate has a 23rd place finish. It's a very strong group.
Correct and disgruntled former teammate Floyd Landis dropped a dime on him, and I have to believe that the omerta on a men's cycling team is much greater than that of a heterogeneous running group.
This has to rival the top clubs in history of any country. Not to mention Schweizer, GDS and Cranny 14:26-14:33
So why can't the US win world cross?
To answer this earnestly: These credentials are all well and good, but Team Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia can put out squads that have a flashier set of PBs. 2 of the top 3 aren't American. Maybe doesn't help that these guys in some cases were better relatively at track than XC. I'd pick Mantz to beat any of them besides maybe Fisher despite their track speed advantage.

You were someone who believed Lance was clean right?
