This is the same coach that didn't teach Athing Mu how to use blocks before the 400 at the indoor NCAA Championships. (I've literally never seen another runner at an NCAA national championships not know how to use blocks.)
It's also the same coach that didn't have her prepared for the obvious tactic of another runner cutting inside her at the 200m mark at those same indoor national championships, which caused Athing Mu to lose the race.
It's also the same coach that didn't prepare her on how to run a smarter race against milers that were much more experienced than her and in better shape. Going out in (a way too fast for her) 2:10 while running almost in the second lane? Give me a break! That shows a complete lack of common sense on the part of the coach.
Her coach isn't smart when it comes to preparing Athing Mu how to race.
