Today, the BTC women ran 9.76 miles in 1:12:25 at 9:21am at Lake Mary Road (source: Instagram story). Then Shelby ran 9.83 miles in 1:12:18 at 9:54am at Lake Mary Road (source: Strava). So yeah maybe she's just doing the exact same thing staggered by 30 minutes?

So she's doing workouts after BTC have left the track? So she is *not* working out with them?
I mean... that seems fine? Like seems like she's coordinating to make sure she doesn't go to the track at the same time as BTC. I assume people wouldn't want the opposite.

That seems pretty sketchy to me.
Maybe this explains some of the women leaving the group. they knew this would happen and it's a slippery slope

It is possible that she manually set the time on her watch to be 30min off the real time. Typically people let it set the time automatically from the satellites, but some watches let you override that. I used to adjust mine by an hour or more so that people I worked with - and who followed me on Strava - would think I was running early before work, when I was actually running at a reasonable hour and showing up late to work.

Interesting. Unless that's some huge uphill grade it sounds like an easy run. What are the chances she independently did a ten mile easy run in almost the exact same time as everyone else?

Sorry, meant to reply to "watch time set manually"
So how is she even finding out about these workouts.
So she's basically still being coached by Jerry? How is this allowed??
People are coached remotely all the time even if they aren't interacting in person. Can't see how this is okay. She's legit banned.
If btc wants to take some high ground about doping, they are sure in some very weird gray area (at best) right now...
i think shelbys a doper but if she cant compete idgaf if shes training with BTC or Ingebrigtsen or Potato Tim

This. People reporting on her training because they see it on social media are lame hacks.

+1
Get a freaking life. Goes for those Aussie dipshïts and that balding American, too. Don’t they know their coach was front and center with a coach banned for doping?
I actually care for the rest of BTC if Shelby is somehow training with them. Each individual athlete can be suspended for 1 year if they have an association with her (although, as someone posted earlier, what kind of association is vague). This could literally suspend most of the talented US women’s distance runners in one swoop if they’re not careful, so that’s why I care, although I am starting to think that all those who remain at BTC are doping too.
Someone in this thread said she's still getting paid by BTC/Nike-anyone know if that's true? And I wonder how the pay may have changed from when she was actually, you know, competing.

I posted that. I don’t KNOW that she is still being paid. However, there is no rule that prevents Nike from paying her, only from coaching her or having her represent Nike. Therefore, I think, with high probability, they are still paying her something.

Don't shoot the messenger. That banned drug cheat should respect the rules of her ban. And so should BTC.

Messenger? It's Jerry Springer level.

She is and Fast Women (aka Alison Wade) has been reporting on it, which is absolutely disgusting. Unless she's trying to enter races under a pseudonym, can we take all the spotlight off of this shameless cheat?
lol " Absolutely Disgusting" it isn't that serious.
She won't be running any races soon so what is the harm?

Methinks that she thinks she will be racing soon. I bet her attorneys are working on something behind the scenes.
Coffee Club didn't break it the BTC photog did.
It's such a joke. and it is super disrespectful. Shelby's a banned athlete. There is nothing that proves she was innocent whatsoever.
I get being shellshocked your little friend was popped. But it's a little shocking to me that all these months later, no one in the sport is speaking up about how ridiculous it is that they are whining about the "factz of the case!" when all the facts point to her cheating?
What a waste and a liar.
and shame on them for helping her.
