I'm currently a freshman girl running d3 with a 6k PR in the low 25s. I'd love to run 23:3x or faster.
I know I don't have the current fitness to do this now. (even running a 27 minute 6k would probably be tough now). I've been sidelined because of injury since November.
My 5k PR is somewhere in the 20:40s, mile - 5:43; 2 mile - 12:50
I know I need to do a lot of training to get towards my goal. I think increasing my mile would be a good place to start. Would it be possible to shave off this much time starting when I can run again (early February) and XC season in August? Thanks.
