Yea. Real deal program.
Yea. Real deal program.
Okay
It would be a bit odd to have 5 sub 14:10 guys and only 2 of them can break 29:30. It is possible but not the norm.
They should go to RunningLane next year.
Who cares? It's D3.
None would place at the B10 track meet and their XC team would finish about 10th.

They is obviously incorrect and they would probably beat Newbury Park High School. Both would place no lower than 7th at B10 Cross Country.
So you predict that they are going to have the most successful DIII distance track season of all time? That would be pretty cool! Unfortunately, I think it's a little more likely that they'll run some fast times in early April and burn out before the championships roll around, as DIII Cali teams have been known to do.

Still couldn't beat Newbury Park in a dual meet.
you must be someone on their team! no one cares until they do it. happy trails!
Foubd this in another thread. This team is better than 5 guys running 14:10. Guess where they finished the past 2 years in the B10. Obviously top 7 right?
7:58/13:54
8:06/13:55/28:48
7:59
3:43
3:47/8:21
3:50/8:15/14:12
3:51/8:12/14:18
3:49/8:20
3:58/8:26
3:59/8:29
4:00/8:35
8:30

This means nothing. Show me how they do at 10000m. Not impressed.

Who cares about the Big 10? The bottom half of the teams there don't care about cross country and give no scholarships to distance runners. Last year Rutgers didn't have 1 male athlete run an event longer than a 3k on the track. That's an EMBARASSMENT to have no 5k or 10k runners.
Pomona's men's cross country roster is twice the size as some Big 10 teams. Their students probably pay less than the Big 10 teams because of financial aid and academic scholarships.
That's the point. This is the roster of a below average B10 team that "don't care about cross country and give no scholarships to distance runners" but it is much better than Pomona who is the best in D3 and people are excited about it.

what team are those marks from?
My guess would be IOWA.

Many posters have claimed that Pomona could qualify for D1 nationals. They won't match these track times of a team who isn't close to qualifying.
They already had the best XC d3 season ever
UVA had in 2021 outdoor:
3 guys sub-14:00
7 guys 14:24 or faster
6 guys under 30:00
Not close to making XC Nationals
