Watching the NFL and seeing guys play through injuries like torn ligaments, sprained ankles, and more. All because they are dedicated to their team, winning, and giving every thing they have to being the best they can when it matters most.
Cross Country runners get a boo boo leading up to a championship race- is dealing with the injury, however is cleared to run and so the coach says "you're going to run" and then the whole team starts crying "my coach is injuring my friend and prioritizing winning over health!"
meanwhile said athlete is like "No I want to run because I want to win...." then teammates are like "you're just saying that because you've been systematically led to believe that winning is more important that your health! it's not worth it!"
meanwhile said athlete had a freaking minor low ankle sprain and he was cleared by both doctors and trainers.
