The guy is wrong anyway. There is a difference between unprocessed and processed coconut oil. Unprocessed would be whatever gets squeezed out of the coconut tissue, and at the very least it is filtered. That is a level of processing.
And yea, both Impossible Burger and Beyond Meat are gross. I tried both because I really do want to cut down on red meat, but the taste is bad. Maybe some like it, but it is disingenuous to say you can't tell it from the real thing. I further understand that mass consumption of red meat is bad for the environment and if it wasn't available, I'd make do without.
Yeah processed, usually mean changed from its natural state. I mean all food is processed to some degree, in the fact that there's some process behind getting that food and getting it to your plate
But with oil there's refined versus unrefined oil. And even unrefined oil can mean different things so, some oil is much more natural in how it is extracted
But I wouldn't want to eat modified food starch or soy protein isolate or any kind of protein concentrates as I find all them do not make for good health
Give me vegetables whole grains and beans any day over chemically preserved modified food
