Hi everyone, im a runner with a weekly mileage of 65-75. Dummy question here. Do you guys record your strength training to TP or other workout trackers. I hate wearing HR monitors while doing strength work. I have an A and B routine that I alternate every other day. A is an endurance based core workout consisting of high reps with a focus on form and range of motion. B is a stabilization workout with an emphasis on isometric holds and targeting mainly hip flexors, ankles, foot muscles and such. I like doing strength training a lot and these workouts are very mild. My resting HR is 50 and my HR while doing these workouts don't exceed 100. Frankly I don't think the TSS from these workouts will alter my metrics but am I being a nub? I'm very lazy when it comes to syncing workouts
Also what I always think about is the weakness of calculating strength training just by HR (which can easily be affected by anything). I want to know the "real" damage I'm doing with strength work. With running or the other disciplines we get data on speed, cadence, stride length and so on. Basically what I am trying to avoid is adding extra TSS to my week and seeing a fitness level which I don't yet have.
