Oh, I see.
It's above some of us to talk about flatulence?
Is that it, Greg?
I guess I'm just some kind of freak with a smelly problem?
And if you must know, it;s hardly the first time I have shunned for this condition.
Good night!

Yes, I have made more than that in one session musician session. Wasn't even the goal. I have never worked full-time as a musician (by design), but I was in a band with a guy who did session work for commercials and video games, and that's how I found out about it. I worked with him doing session work for about 5 years. I even played bass on one of them.
I can only judge you by the videos I have seen you post. I don't care about how Canada does things or what your silly credential means. The proof is in the pudding, and you aren't that good of a player. There was an old woman in my church when I was a kid who was better than you, and she only ever played in church. I am better than you all day and twice...no, three times on Sunday.
You don't buy a lot of things, and you are wrong on all of them. You aren't the Mayor, you will never sell that script, you don't understand how saying "All Lives Matter" is racist. What you buy has no bearing on the truth.
Why should I go for humility? You are the one who out of the blue in this thread starting going on about how superior you are to me as a piano player. Dude, you aren't. Even though you have a disability, I'll treat you like any other person when you start spewing falsehoods (and racist things).
You are telling me you made $8k in a session as a session musician? Who was paying you?
I'm not buying it.
I don't know a lot about the session musician world but I'm not sure they would pay nearly 10 grand for a day or less of work unless you did work for a very well known and successful commercial artist.
Like did you do session work for GunsnRoses or U2? Or Bruce Springsteen?
If you did, you probably would be in music full time and not boasting on here.
The videos I make are kind of amateur because I'm not polished like I once was. Yet I also have a recording on the channel from the years where I did music seriously. I play the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Tempest Sonata. I have a recording of the entire Sonata.
I'm not sure you were playing that level of music.
You can call my credential silly but it actually represents a level of musicianship attained.
What is silly is you dismissing the level of musicianship that I have as a credential.
I have something and you don't. You are the silly one.
Anyways, if you really feel you are a superior musician your claims don't make it so.
I started a fun challenge on another thread. Why not get off your but and make a few YouTube videos so we can actually have something to judge you on? It would be fun to have a contest don't you think?
Even if you won the contest I proposed I'd be happy for you. I just am not buying your boastful claims about being such a great musician when I've only heard 1 recording which did not impress much.

Greg, you really need to get a job.
He can't get a job because of this statement.
https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/jobsearch/jobsearch?d=50&mid=22312&sort=MGreg, as a kid, what were you made fun of the most?
Were your social skills better or worse then?
Were you bullied a lot and that’s why you feel like getting reactions out of people now that you’re a grown man?

I rate Greg’s social skills at negative one thousand.
I rate mine as + 1,000,000
I win

You've posted this exact thread before.
My social skills would blow yours out of the water in an organized competition. Wouldn't even be close. I'd be sooooo charming

Also there is nothing wrong with not having a job or being single.
Neither are faults on someone, they are simply circumstances.
I am a bachelor largely because I am introverted, never put myself in social situations and don't have a job. If I had an average or above average income that would drastically change my ability to date.
You can influence and create your circumstances. You are woman repellant.

Certainly your modesty is irreplaceable!
On the outside my social manners are pretty nimble, pretty quick. Not the unstable abrassiveness that appears on media. Much more at peace alone. (Kind of a Rilka guy as to the element of"Solitude." And prefer to do projects of all kinds (except Music) alone. (I pist off a teacher trainer once when I petulantly called on Her to "just give me the topic and goals and I'll have back to ya tomorrow done to a "t.!")
Am as slow in thinking as on the road or track, and just get lost in groups. The skills are there but the heart ❤ is out to lunch. Loner.

Flagpoles’s social skills are a bit below average. Greg you are in the bottom 10 percent. All you do is pump yourself up and then get hostile if anyone disagrees with you. Flagpole does the same but he tries to use humor and is a bit more agreeable. Both of you are Narcissists.
Jeezus, that was a truth bomb. They’re like ‘before’ and ‘Really before’ in a therapy commercial

No, he needs to get a life.
Anyone with half a brain knows the strategy is to come in with a really low, self-deprecating assessment of themselves. Then slowly others chime in that you are too hard on yourself, you really have some good things going for you, etc. You end up looking the queen of the prom.
I'd play it but it's just easier to watch others make claims and subsequently discredit it with each passing post.
And thank you, FP, for your thoughtful recommendation regarding my, um, condition.

Gregs strategy is a lot more straight forward

Flagpole lies. Don't believe him Greg, you are most certainly a better human being than he'll ever be. There's not a more insecure person on this site than Columbus, Ohio.
My social skills are the equivalent of a 4:20 mile runner. Very solid, but not outstanding.

Excellent advice.
I have some conflict escalation issues, and on the other extreme, avoidance issues, not as bad a Greg or SS.
People still like me.
