Craig Engels vs Brandon Miller in the 800m is probably the most interesting race on the schedule.
Also Mu is running the 1000m but she is the only one entered in it.

DNC (Do Not Care)
Engels also entered in the fast heat of the 3k while Hunter also entered in the fast heat of the mile.
Athing Mu's solo record run may produce the best result of the meet.
However, for my money, the best race is the All-UAC women's 3k:
https://www.flashresults.com/2022_Meets/Indoor/01-15_TedNelson/006-1_start.htm
2 1 Konstanze KLOSTERHALFEN
Union Athletics Club
2 2 Alexa EFRAIMSON
Union Athletics Club
2 3 Ella DONAGHU
Union Athletics Club
2 4 Shannon OSIKA
Union Athletics Club
2 5 Jessica HULL
Union Athletics Club
2 6 Sinclaire JOHNSON
Union Athletics Club
Looks like Pete is taking a page out of Jerry's playbook . . . convincing the meet director to create a special heat just for his athletes . . . very reminiscent of the all-BTC 3k race at BU a couple years back when Schweizer-Houlihan-Quigley all ran sub-8:30 and broke Flanagan's then-indoor AR. Kate Grace was the rabbit in that one . . . suspect Sinclaire will have rabbiting duties on Saturday.
Note: they'll be going after the 8:49 World Indoor Q.
Sub 8:30 & new German indoor record for Koko? She's also entered in the fastest heat of the 800.
I just stumbled upon these heat sheets and came here to see if anyone saw this too.
Any one have a good idea why Julian is racing so many of his athletes at this meet?
or Perhaps Julian is there to convince Mu to join his group?
Or is Nike sending athletes there to pace Mu in her 1k? Mu is set to race a 1k by her self according to the heat sheets.

Is everyone vaxxed?
Yeah my other thought Was maybe just because of loose covid restrictions makes it easier to race there?

That would be the worst possible thing

I would ACTUALLY scream.
Any way to watch this tomorrow (remotely)?

Mu is still a full time student at Texas A&M. She isn't going anywhere.
Should be on SEC Network+ on ESPN+
In addition to the 1k, Mu is also running the Mile.
And Koko is also running the 800.

Even Koko is not running sub 8:30 with 800m race less than an hour before and in the first race of indoor season. Hull, Osika, Donaghu want to get the world indoor standard; I wouldn't be surprised if Koko will mainly be a pacer for the last 1k...
But it was sensible to get their own heat because otherwise there would be lots of lappings at ~8:45 pace.
seems like a weird meet to race, why would they want to race with mediocre college kids, especially indoor where they will be lapping them
It’s UTI track club or Pete’s Dragons. Get the name right.

They already thought of that and are one step ahead of you. Their heat won't have any college runners in it, just pros.
4:00.8 for charlie
Why did Efraimson run in heat 2 of a college meet where no one else could even break 5min for the mile??
Why did the Boring Name Track Club even bother racing this? It's a time trial so far.
This is basically a high school meet.
Ok hmm seems like the women's 3k has most of their athletes in it....is that the only purpose of this meet? And then they just brought the men along for fun?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
I think Letesenbet Gidey might be trying to break 14 this Saturday
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
