Well, I want to train solely in Zone 1 with the help of a heart rate monitor. Build myself up from the VERY baseline. For at least 3 months.
But due to my condition I will not be able to measure my max heart rate pulse prior or during this time.
Is it possible to gauge my Zone 1 pulse by using the standard formula and then train in the range 80-100 (age 30) and use perceived effort to monitor the exertion as well?
That would be ok?
