I've been running since 6 months purely for health and never had competition in my mind, so I never done a long run, or tempo, and not even interval.
Just ran 4 miles/day, 6 days a week.
I'm averaging 8:30-8:45/mile pace. It usually feels not too easy, but not too hard either. Maybe like a steady pace, idk.
But, then I've heard there's this Half Marathon in 2 weeks in my town, so I thought maybe it would be fun to do it.
Do you think I can run for 13.1 miles at maybe 9:15-9:30/mile pace ? Or should I go slower ? Or I can go faster ?
I am 28 yo.
