Anyone got any interesting insights to share on good shoelace technique? Different styles of tieing the shoe up? pros and con? Should you tie them up in different ways depending on circumstance? etc etc

You ever go to tie your shoes and you notice the end of your laces are wet? Come on, why would they be wet? Bacteria and virus migrate from the sole up. Men piss all over the floor, urinals jammed with cigarettes and moth ball cakes.
I saw a post on another forum asking how people tie their shoes to avoid coming untied on runs because this was a frequent problem for the individual. I didn't even know how to respond because I just tie my shoes the same way I learned in kindergarten and have never had an issue.
How many knots do you do?
I've been doing the "runner's loop" for years now. Definitely an improvement. Big fan.
Everything about shoe lace thing is overrated. I tie mine like I used to in grade school and loose enough so I can slip in and out without having untied and have never had a problem on training runs.
Sprints are the only time when I feel the need to tie them snugger for more stability.
